.. and it was not Valentine’s Day

An L&M post for Valentine’s Day, especially since neither of us give it even a thought? Gasp!

My regular readers are sure to do a double take when they see the title and read the post, for this one is a little ‘hatke’. The man himself was mighty pleased and smiled smugly. After all, he has been a sport all these years, going to the extent of even suggesting topics and reminding me of incidents to write about – while I merrily pulled his leg.

This is how this post came about: When Atula Gupta who has this delightful blog Little Red Box asked me to do a guest post for her, I couldn’t refuse. For I love that blog which publishes nostalgic tidbits.  She has another equally awesome blog on endangered wildlife – India’s Endangered,  which is another favourite haunt of mine.

Now for the post….

Though I had married a tall, dark and handsome guy (which apparently was the formula endorsed by M&B novels as the most romantic and desirable specimen of the species), he was nothing if not unromantic. We never went moonlight walking or did any of the other things romantic couples were supposed to do…..
