Where are the ‘Family Doctors?’

The friendly neighbourhood Family Doctor is a fast vanishing breed in times of specialisation and five-star hospital care.

Oh, Doctor!

Even hole-in-the-wall private nursing homes and clinics often have expensive diagnostic equipment to attract gullible patients who are made to undergo superfluous tests and investigations.

I have often wondered why these ‘doctors’ only advertise on the walls or in the classified section of the newspapers. It is almost clandestine, if you know what I mean.
